Mission Statement

We, the school community of Saint Anne, recognize our purpose to provide a quality Catholic education to the children that we serve. In a safe and nurturing learning environment, we address the individual needs of our students. We create for them the opportunity to realize their unique potential: body, mind and spirit. We affirm the importance of the inter-relationship of church, home and school. We strive to serve the total community and we continue, both locally and globally, to honor our commitment to the less fortunate.

The education and faith community of Saint Anne School in co-operation with the parents recognize our purpose and responsibility, to share collaboratively in our efforts to guide and educate our students.

Our student body being largely multi-cultural and ethnically diverse shares a unique richness. In an atmosphere of love and respect, and mindful of the desire for wholeness, students are taught dignity and self respect and to value the diversity of all peoples and cultures. We recognize and celebrate our uniqueness as we strive to develop and nurture unity among us as is found in the teachings of Christ and in celebrating the beliefs, traditions and values of the Catholic Church.

By providing a safe and nurturing learning environment, parents and teachers work together towards the creation of an atmosphere that fosters academic achievement by addressing the student’s individual needs and providing them an opportunity to realize their spiritual, intellectual, psychological, social, physical and aesthetic potential.

We recognize and affirm the uniqueness of each child by addressing individual learning and developmental needs allowing them to experience academic success and spiritual well being. We value the importance of the inter-relationship of the school, home and church, recognizing the role of the parents as the primary educators of the children we serve. The primary goal of the teachers and staff of Saint Anne School is to ensure that the students receive a top quality, spiritually enriched, Catholic education. The school’s mission and philosophy are the basis for defining the Student Learning Expectations and for developing a school program that is best suited to meet the needs of all students.
