The newly formed SAS Vikings Soccer team competed for the first time this year against other area Boys & Girls Club branches in a weekend soccer league. On Saturday, January 24, the SAS Vikings completed their season with an undefeated season record and won the League Championship. The team was coached by SMBGC SAS Club staffer, Sean Robbins.
Saint Anne School Principal, Michael Browning, was at the game on Saturday and announced that in his 17 years as Principal of Saint Anne School, this is the first ever championship team at the school. He hopes to see more SAS students participating in the SMBGC after school sports leagues and growing into strong future CYO league teams.
Go Vikings!
