Saint Anne School was founded over 100 years ago and celebrated its Centennial in 2008. The school originally was founded to provide an education option for the children of immigrant farmworkers and brickyard workers who populated Santa Monica in the early 1900s. Though proud of its Latino heritage, the school has long since welcomed people of all ethnicities and faith traditions. Saint Anne School boasts several multi-generational alumni families whose children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren all have been educated in its classrooms, including some two, three, and even four-generation families.
The Alumni community is a rich tapestry of friends, cousins, parishioners, neighbors, and graduates who have gone on to college and successful careers, families who still live locally and families flung far and wide across the United States and beyond.
In recent years, beginning with its 100th anniversary, Saint Anne School began a concerted effort to identify and reconnect with its alumni, share the exciting new developments, and revisit its centuries-old traditions. Saint Anne School is now on Facebook and on the web here at www.saintanneschool.com. Alumni are invited and encouraged to contact the school via email or by phone, 310-829-2775. We welcome our alumni to come back, reconnect, share their stories, and see all that is new at Saint Anne School.
