Music
Our school has a Bravo award finalist music program providing music instruction both during and after school for all grade levels:
- K-2nd: Orff-Schulwerk Mallet and Percussion
- 3rd-8th: violin, viola, cello, or choral instruction
- Orchestra for qualifying students in Grades 4-8
- *Instruments and instruction provided for all pupils at no charge
Technology
Saint Anne School is a one to one program with an iPad provided for every student. We integrate technology effectively across the curriculum, in all disciplines, and at all grade levels. All classes are equipped with interactive whiteboard technology. As a model Blended Learning school, we effectively utilize technology with the best adaptive software and outstanding teaching to maximize the learning experience of every student. Our technology extends to parents with our web-based Gradelink grading and progress reporting system and use of Class Dojo and Google Classroom for the most effective communication between parent and teacher.
Science
Saint Anne School offers science instruction in grades TK through 8. Special enrichment in Science in grades TK–5 is offered through P.S. Science, a 38-week hands-on science curriculum. Our middle school science curriculum is enriched through our collaboration with UCLA’s School of Engineering. In our Middle School Environmental Science Project, 7th and 8th grade students receive a six-week course in microbiology from UCLA faculty and graduate students. Students develop hypotheses and test local beaches for E. coli bacteria. They evaluate samples, chart results, and defend their findings before UCLA faculty and graduate students before delivering their findings in writing to the Santa Monica City Council.

iReady Math: Math adaptive software that generates curriculum specific to the needs of each student in Grades TK–5
Imagine Math: Math adaptive software that generates curriculum specific to the needs of each student in Grades 4–8
Algebra 1
Advanced Placement Algebra I class daily for 8th grade students who qualify
Language Arts
Accelerated Reader: computer-based program providing comprehension assessment of leveled readers, all grades
Achieve 3000: source of informational reading text in adaptive software designed to improve comprehension and Lexile reading score for students in Grades 3–8
Santa Monica Boys And Girls Club (SMBGC)
Saint Anne School is its own branch of SMBGC providing an outstanding after school program on our campus just for Saint Anne Students at a very affordable price.
Enrichment Clubs
A whole host of club activities are available to students enrolled in our after school programs including cooking, photography, robotics, gardening, dance, yoga, Leaders in Training, and many more.
Title I Remedial Reading and Mathematics Program
Remedial instruction provided in conjunction with local public school districts for K-5 students who qualify.
